Discussion on Student Loan Debt
I joined Henry Beck, State Treasurer and former Maine State Legislature Representative, Representative Matthea Daughtry, Co-chair of the Maine Commission on College Affordability and Completion, and Will Nelligan, Architect of the Income Share Agreement model of College Financing to discuss student loan debt, the Opportunity Maine Tax Credit, the State of Maine Grant Program, and Income Share Agreements.
Roundtable on Technology and Government
I joined Maine House Majority Leader Matt Moonen, Megan Sway of the ACLU Policy Council, and Representative Thom Harnett, Co-Chair of the Legislature's Right to Know Advisory Committee, to discuss adapting government to modern technology, and review the advantages and pitfalls of technology with a focus on privacy concerns.

I got together with John Brautigam, Former Assistant Attorney General and defender of the 1996 Clean Elections Act, Betsy Sweet, Politician, Organizer, Activist, and Co-Author of the 1996 Clean Elections Act, and Senator Justin Chenette, Co-Chair of the Maine Legislature's Government Oversight Committee for a discussion about Campaign Finance Reform, Maine Clean Elections, and bans on lobbyist contributions to legislative and gubernatorial candidates.

Roundtable to Address Domestic Violence
I met with Amanda Cost, Facilitative Director at Partners for Peace, MJ Smith, UMaine Student and Director of the Every Voice Coalition, Maine Chapter, and Representative Lois Galgay Reckitt, Former Director of Family Crisis Services in Cumberland County, to discuss past, present, and proposed efforts to address and end domestic violence and sexual assault in Maine.

I met with Amy Roeder, then-candidate (current Rep.) for Maine House District 125, Representative Scott Cuddy, Member of the Maine Legislature's Committee on Labor and Housing, and Serina DeWolfe, Lead Organizer at the American Federation of Teachers Council of Maine, to discuss the efforts of Union members and the successes for workers and their families in the 129th Legislature, and the goals for the next legislative session.
